Melbourne Docklands is a premium 190 hectare inner-city development extending the western edge of Melbourne’s CBD to the harbour.
Docklands is one of Australia’s largest urban renewal projects and one of enormous economic significance to Victoria. Having enjoyed more than a decade of solid growth, Docklands is evolving into a modern residential, commercial and visitor destination which by the end of 2013 will have attracted a total of $8.8 billion in private sector investment since the urban renewal project began in 2000.
Upon completion Docklands is expected to have attracted in excess of $17.5 billion of private investment and be home to an estimated 20,000 residents, 60,000 workers and millions of visitors annually.
