Places Victoria owns two hectares of land on the edge of the Point Cook Town Centre overlooking the Boardwalk Boulevard Wetlands.
Places Victoria has been involved in developing Point Cook (the town centre and the Boardwalk Estate) since 1998 and has delivered approximately 2000 homes in the area. The development we are proposing is finalising the original vision for the precinct in line with the council-endorsed Boardwalk Development Plan, which was approved in 2001 and allows the site to be used for residential and commercial uses.
About the planned development
In May 2016, we invited the community to provide feedback on our plans to deliver townhouses, pedestrian connections with some open space, and potentially a café on the site via a survey, email or phone, community information sessions and meetings with stakeholder groups.
- Town planning application was submitted to Wyndham Council in August 2016.
- The project website was launched in November 2016 for relevant parties to register their interest in the project.
- An onsite sales office is being built and anticipated to open in late February 2017.
